A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Synthnostate: Sanguine Sanguinity
Vampire Sim Tech Demo (WORK IN PROGRESS)
We're on a mission to make a vampire sim that doesn't suck!
- Single-player RPG for PC only (Windows & Linux)
- New custom engine for our 1st/3rd-person & turnbased RPGs
- Original art - no canned assets, no AI art
- No overarching story - just characters, scenarios, and gameplay
- Original vampire/sorcery ruleset loosely derived from pre-Hollywood fiction and folklore (NOT Twilight, Interview, VTM, etc)
- Two settings in development: colonial New England & future California
Development history: This project has been on the drawing board in some form since... 2013? It was too ambitious at the time, but after several years of 3D modeling and turnbased RPG development I began looking at Unity, Unreal, Godot, etc, learned some good texture baking techniques, made a demo using Godot 4.x, and ultimately made a low-effort custom engine based on Raylib 5.x in 2024. It's happening...!

Tried it out, clearly it's pretty early development and has a long way to go. :)
One thing that I found quite annoying is the fact that mouse control inverts the up and down. I'd like it if the mouse up and down could be reversed.
Oh yeah, I can’t stand non-inverted controls, I’ll add that setting in the next version.
Thanks for checking it out!
