Combat: I definitely want a good HARD combat system as a foundation to support the stealth/sorcery/tech systems. Not “Dark Souls hard” but primarily stats-based with many tactical options and moderate time pressure. It should be fluid, using muscle memory without pausing (too much) to select spells/items.

Controls: Gamepad is almost mandatory for first/third person games, but it’ll always play second fiddle to keyboard/mouse in this game; no consolization here. It should be playable with just a gamepad or Steamdeck, but better with keyboard hotkeys and a mouse for shooting and complex GUIs. If anyone wants it, I might eventually add lefty and righty gamepad-keyboard-mouse control schemes.

Well, life got in the way and I didn’t get everything done, but we’re long overdue and next month looks busy, so that’s it for demo2.
