This is just a WIP snapshot release before I begin beta-testing Godot 4.2 in an effort to catch any bugs affecting this game and get them fixed.
What’s new? Mostly UI improvements.
Change Log
- Engine: Godot 4.1.2
- Separate title screen (with 2042 map as placeholder background image)
- New Game sequence: character creation and intro narrative
- Character creation: appearance and clothing merged into one tab
- Inventory screen finished and moved to a tab in Character screen
- Auto-equip weapons when unarmed
- “Lore books” test (read the “Codex” in your inventory)
- Moon image and phases (WIP, notice the obvious flaws lol)
- Quest system (WIP)
- UI “X” close buttons
- Gamepad UI controls
